FOUNDING PARTNERS
NAMED FOREVER.
SEVEN SPOTS LEFT.

We reserved the first twelve partnership slots for businesses founded in or operating from the bay area. Founding partners are named on the about page in perpetuity, get first option on annual renewals before public open, and lock in 2026 rates against future price increases. Five are taken. Seven remain. When they're gone, the cohort closes.

A NOTE FROM THE EDITOR

I pick every sponsor. If a business doesn't pass the bar we hold the bylines to, I'll say no on the intro call and you keep your money. The bar is honest: do you treat your people well, are you specific about what you do, and would your story make a saturday letter our readers actually want to open? If yes, let's talk. If you're not sure, the call is the right place to find out.

“The piece read like one of our regulars wrote it. The editor walked through the shop twice before he ever started typing. Twelve weeks later we still see the article in our top three referrers.”

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

Can we pick the angle of the article?

You can suggest one. We write the piece. Editorial firewall holds: if we can't honestly cover what you want covered, we'll tell you before we accept the project, not after.

What if you don't take our pitch?

We talk it through first. We won't accept money for a piece we can't write with integrity. If a project isn't a fit, we'll say so on the intro call and refer you to honest alternatives.

How long until our piece ships?

The Profile typically lands in 3–4 weeks. The Feature in 4–6. The Bespoke in 6–8. We block one saturday's slot per partner and don't double-book.

Is the backlink really DoFollow?

Yes. Marked DoFollow in the HTML and indexed by Google. We don't believe in NoFollow trickery. The article lives at a real URL on a real publication, which carries more SEO weight than a directory listing.

Can we see what the placement looks like before signing?

Yes. Ask us on the call and we'll send links to a sample article placement and a sample saturday letter with sponsor credit. We treat every partner the same way.

Why no banner ads?

Because we promised our readers we wouldn't. The promise is the product. We monetize through editorial sponsorship and underwriting instead, which keeps readers reading and keeps your name in front of an audience that trusts what they read.

What happens when a slot runs out for the month?

We roll you to the next available saturday. Most tiers fill 2–4 weeks ahead. If you want a specific date, book early. We don't oversell.

START A CONVERSATION.

All starting prices above are a floor. We gate the real number behind a conversation so we can match the package to your business. Tell us what you're working on, what you want readers to know, and what success looks like. We reply within two business days.
